AICD
Association of Independent Compressor Distributors Founded in 1985, The Association of Independent Compressor Distributors has grown to include members in the United States, Canada, Mexico and other countries. The AICD provides membership with cooperative purchasing programs, member training and educational seminars. Additionally, their annual meetings provide networking opportunities with other distributors and vendors within the compressed air industry. John Henry Foster Company has been a member of AICD since the very beginning in 1985.

IFPS
International Fluid Power Society The International Fluid Power Society was started in 1960 by a group a dedicated professionals to support the technology of the fluid power industry. Their members and supporters represent diverse communities including fluid power manufacturers, distributors, service organizations and other users of fluid power. The Fluid Power Society is now an International Organization with members and certified professionals in many countries around the world. John Henry Foster Company has been a member of the organization since 1982.

FPDA
Fluid Power Distributor Association The Fluid Power Distributor Association is committed to helping members improve their profitability and increase their value to customers by providing member education, industry data, and networking opportunities. Their core focus areas include future trends in distribution, accelerating business development, pursuing long term viability, understanding and retaining channel relationships, and ensuring membership growth. John Henry Foster Company has been a member of FPDA since 1989.

CAC
Compressed Air Challenge Founded in 1997, the Compressed Air Challenge (CAC), Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation, formed by a collaborative group of sponsors from utilities, energy service companies, national and local government energy agencies, compressed air equipment manufacturers, distributors, and service providers. There is additional representation on important committees from end users, independent compressed air auditors and consultants, and professional associations. The CAC is organized exclusively for educational purposes to foster, encourage, and improve the efficient generation and use of compressed air.

CAGI
Compressed Air and Gas Institute Since 1915, the Compressed Air and Gas Institute (CAGI) has been the leading organization representing manufacturers of compressed air system equipment, including air compressors, blowers, pneumatic tools and air and gas drying and filtration equipment. For over 80 years, the Institute has been working to improve production, proper use and increased distribution of equipment used in compressed air and gas systems. John Henry Foster finds CAGI to be a beneficial source of published standards and engineering data for air and gas compressors, information of value about educational and research activities, such as the compressed air challenge, and knowledge about current areas of concern within the industry.

NFPA
National Fluid Power Association The National Fluid Power Association is committed to advancing fluid power technology, strengthening the industry and fostering member's success through a menu of services that is broad enough to meet wide-ranging interests, yet focused enough to offer individualized assistance. NFPA is a seamless and inclusive association that can serve as a collective voice for all channel partners including manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, customers, and educators alike. John Henry Foster finds NFPA to be a beneficial source of education and news in regards to the fluid power industry. In addition, many of the manufacturers that John Henry Foster works with are members of the association.

MPMA
Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association For over 50 years, the Minnesota Precision Manufacturing Association has been a source of information, education and support for those in the precision manufacturing industry. The MPMA vision is to turn Minnesota into a world leader in precision manufacturing and related technologies. John Henry Foster Company recently became a member in 2009.

Lignite Energy Council
Lignite Energy Council The primary objective of the Lignite Energy Council is to maintain a viable lignite coal industry and enhance development of the region's lignite coal resources for use in generating electricity, synthetic natural gas and valuable byproducts. Members of the Lignite Energy Council include mining companies, major users that use lignite to generate electricity, synthetic natural gas and other valuable byproducts, and businesses that provide goods and services to the lignite industry. John Henry Foster Company became a member in 2009.
