Air System Assessment
We offer as needed, on demand, service and maintenance. Our Service Advisors troubleshoot on the phone to assess the situation and determine the urgency of the client’s challenge. When scheduling the call, the Service Advisors also assess what parts may be needed in an attempt to obtain a one-trip service call with a technician, which translates into a timely, cost effective service call for the customer. Partnering with suppliers and troubleshooting with customers - JHF technicians search for timely and cost effective solutions both for regularly scheduled maintenance and for emergencies. We manage a large inventory of stocked parts and handle purchasing of specific-non-stock items to meet our client’s needs. In addition to JHF stocking the brands for which we are an authorized distributor, we also stock parts for other major brands.

Maintenance Programs offered at JHF
JHF’s service programs help customers focus on their business, not their maintenance
A smart strategy for reducing costly downtime is performing regularly scheduled maintenance on air compressors and related equipment. John Henry Foster has three predictive maintenance programs that can increase production reliability, reduce downtime, and serve clients in an emergency. JHF advisors will contact customers in advance to schedule regularly scheduled maintenance and will also manage the administration and necessary follow-up.
JHF’s trained technicians will streamline your maintenance program, enabling you to stay focused on your business and not on wondering whether your system is up and running smoothly.
1. Maintenance Agreement Program
JHF offers contracted maintenance agreements on most brands and types of compressors and vacuum pumps. We plan and schedule all calls, keep track of and manage oil samples and complete all required paperwork. You will also receive a priority status for emergency service and same-day service, if needed. JHF will work with you to control and budget your maintenance expenses on a monthly, quarterly or semi-annual basis. This agreement also includes a complete inspection of each piece of equipment within the program.
2. Non-Contract Maintenance Program
Another efficient approach to service is our non-contract program, which allows customers to pay only for time and materials for their ongoing service. This program has all the same advantages and features as the above agreement but without the planned billing cycle. This agreement also includes the complete inspection of each piece of equipment within the program.
3. Inspection Program
Our inspection program offers in-depth assessments to verify your equipment is operating properly and efficiently, as well as providing general system recommendations. If desired, a JHF technician can work with a customer’s technicians for training, support and conducting a walk-thru session. We provide a written report on each piece of equipment inspected, offer follow-up recommendations and assist with all control settings, adjustments and efficiency set points. A complimentary bearing check will also be offered. This inspection program can serve as an enhancement to your current in-house maintenance program.

Maintenance Seminars
To support our teaching of compressed air systems, we demonstrate with ten working cut-away displays that simulates air compressor operations. This allows for an interactive educational experience with visual understanding of the equipment’s features and functions. We discuss how to:
- Achieve peak compressor efficiency through proper installation and maintenance practices.
- Test and monitor a compressor’s functions and safety features.
- Offer tips for predictive maintenance.
- Set and adjust operational controls.
- Operation and adjustment of Power-Sync™ computerized control system.
- Properly select lubricants and interpret oil analysis reports.

Air System Assessment
For customers that have technicians on staff that would value annual system assessment to verify equipment is working properly, minor adjusting and provide system recommendations. A JHF technician will work with the customer’s technicians for training, support and a walk-thru session. We provide a check-list, report and recommended next steps.
